Exact solution for Lienard-Wiechert potentials of uniformly accelerated charged point-like particle and radiation friction force


In classical electrodynamics, properties of exact expressions for the retarded Lienard-Wiechert potentials and intensities of electric and magnetic fields of uniformly accelerated point-like particle are discussed. Asymptotic behaviour of intensities of E and H fields at large distances from the charged particle is considered. New formula for the radiation friction force is discussed. Its contribution to particle acceleration at linear accelerators is estimated.
