Total resummation of leading logarithmic contributions to the spin structure
function g_1 versus the Standard Approach.
Standard Approach (SA) to description of g_1 is based on the
DGLAP evolution equations complemented with special fits for the initial
parton densities. Those fits have a quite complicated
structure and include singular factors which mimic
the total resummation of leading logarithms
of x. When the resummation is accounted for, the singular
factors must be dropped, so new expressions for the fits become much
simpler. Besides, SA can operate in the region of large Q^2 only whereas
our approach can be used for large and small Q^2 equally.
