M.G.Ryskin (PNPI)


750 GeV diphoton resonance: production via the \gamma\gamma fusion


L. Harland-Lang, V.A.Khoze, M.G. Ryskin ------------ ATLAS and CMS has observed the peak at M=750 GeV in \gamma\gamma mass distribution at \sqrt{s}=13 TeV. If the peak will be confirmed it may be a qualitaively new particle. Not excluded that this resonance have no coupling to the gluons and is produced in the fusion of two photon. We calculate the effective \gamma\gamma luminosity for such a heavy object production
