Large-N Solution of the Heterotic CP(N-1) Model with Twisted Masses


Two-dimensional CP(N-1) models emerged as effective low-energy theories on the worldsheet of non-Abelian strings in a class of four-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories. Here we focus on a particular model, so called heterotic N=(0,2) supersymmetric CP(N-1) model with twisted masses. We solve this model in the large-N approximation. Dynamical scenarios at large and small masses are studied. We found three distinct phases and two lines of phase transitions.
